Svar Life Science is facing a lot of fun challenges and we’re now looking for someone who wants to take part in building up our top class accounting department. You will work closely with other functions in the finance team and the accounting manager is responsible for day to day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, cash collection, VAT reporting VAT reporting for entity with mixed VAT and VAT- intrastate reporting.

ABOUT YOU

The successful applicant has a couple of years’ experience as senior accountant or accounting manager, preferably experience from producing/manufacturing companies, international environment broad knowledge using several ERP systems.

You have an academic degree in finance and are independent in monthly and annual closing. We value experience of IFRS and/or K3. If you have worked in a fast-paced environment in the past setting up processes and you enjoy building something from the ground, we’re excited to talk with you.

As a person you are analytical and have a good sense for both details and the big picture. You are business oriented and quality conscious with a high ability to prioritize and work towards deadlines. You are used to work independently and structured with a focus on driving the business forward. It is important to have good “people skills” and to enjoy building relationships within the organization.

To fit and complement the team you must be comfortable with being a problem solver and create from nothing. This demands from you to have a positive attitude, take initiatives and is responsible. We expect excellent communication skills in both English and Swedish and solid knowledge working with Excel.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monthly- and annual closing for two Swedish companies
  • Annual report for subsidiaries
  • Develop new and increase efficiency in existing routines and processes
  • Contact with auditors
  • Cashflow reporting
  • Income tax returns
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Super user in Palette (accounts payable distribution system)
  • Investment analysis
