We are looking for a qualified person for cell-based assay, development, characterization, and validation to complete the Svar Life Science France development team.

Cell-based reporter gene assays is a very important area for the future growth of the Svar Life Science business and we are now strengthening our capacity for supplying world leading, genetically engineered mammalian cells for in vitro assays in research, pharmaceutical development and production, as well as for clinical diagnostics.

Svar Life Science France is engaged in the development of cell-based reporter-gene assays for the biotech/pharma industry and we are now strengthening our capacity for supplying customers with world class, genetically engineered mammalian cells lines.

Applications include the assessment of the potency and antibody response of a wide range biopharmaceuticals including, monoclonal antibodies, recombinant AAV vectors, and other pharmacologically active agents.

  • Actively participate in investigations and projects
  • Ensuring availability of cells for in vitro assays
  • Actively support transfer projects for new cell lines from our Paris facility to Malmö
  • Live up to requirements in the Quality system
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures


The successful candidate will have a Batchelor or Master degree in biological sciences, and at least one to two years laboratory experience, preferably in the pharma/Biotech industry.

Experience in small to medium scale mammalian cell culture and the characterization and validation of cell lines would be appreciated.

The successful candidate will enjoy working in a dynamic and ever-changing environment where tasks and priorities can change quickly.
