Svar Life Science is expanding the pipeline of products and services towards the future of diagnostics, drug modalities and disease indications. We aim to serve patients by providing answers for the pharmaceutical industry, CRO’s, clinical hospital laboratories and providers of diagnostic automated systems.

Your responsibility as a scientist is to lead projects from new product development, through feasibility to launch as well as contribute to innovation and novel investigations into future areas and products of interest for Svar Life Science.

You are ambitious and dedicated to supporting the organisation by developing meaningful products within the R&D pipeline. You are motivated by achieving great results through, and together with, teams across Svar Life Science. You exhibit a high simultaneous capacity and are passionate about science and solving technical challenges.

You have the follow qualifications:

  • PhD in life sciences preferably immunology/cell biology/molecular biology
  • Experience with assay development of reporter gene assays or cell-based assay 
  • Experience with one, or several, cutting-edge techniques like “omics”, stem cells, gene therapy, viral vectors, CAR etc., is highly preferred
  • Experience with conducting research in pharma/biotech within immunology/inflammatory diseases is also preferrable
  • Knowledge of basic quality system regulations and procedures and MS office
  • Good interpersonal skills working in an international environment
  • A positive, problem solving mindset, dedicated, responsible and caring
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
