We are looking for a research scientist to participate in the design of reporter and expression plasmid constructs, the establishment of genetically modified cell lines, and in the validation of the bioassays based on these cell lines to complete the Svar Life Science France development team

Cell-based reporter gene assays is a very important area for the future growth of the Svar Life Science business and we are now strengthening our capacity for supplying world leading, genetically engineered mammalian cells for in vitro assays in research, pharmaceutical development and production, as well as for clinical diagnostics.

ABOUT THE JOB

Svar Life Science France is engaged in the development of cell-based reporter-gene assays for the biotech/pharma industry and we are now strengthening our capacity for supplying customers with world class, genetically engineered mammalian cells lines.

Applications include the assessment of the potency and antibody response of a wide range biopharmaceuticals including monoclonal antibodies, recombinant AAV vectors, and other pharmacologically active agents.

To complete the development team, we are looking for a research scientist to participate in the design of reporter and expression plasmid constructs, the establishment of genetically modified cell lines, and in the validation of the bioassays based on these cell lines.

 

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D, a minimum of two years post-doctoral experience, and a good knowledge of molecular biology, in particular cellular and molecular cloning techniques.

Basic knowledge in immunology, virology or oncology as well as experience in the biotech/pharma industry would be appreciated.
