At Wieslab Laboratory Services, we aim to work in close collaboration with our clients to establish trustful relationships and to deliver accurate data in a timely manner. Laboratory Services covers two business areas: 1) Diagnostic Services, that deliver test results to doctors and physicians worldwide and 2) Bioanalytical Services, which acts as a contract research organisation (CRO) for international Biotech and Pharmaceutical companies. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for our computerized systems and ensure that our LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and other computerized systems are in compliance with relevant guidelines and quality standards such as ISO15189, GLP and GCP. Working together with LIMS super users in the organisation, you will be heavily involved in initiation of ensuring data integrity in our daily work. You will also have a key role in ensuring that the life cycle of computerized systems, including computerized system validations (CSV), are managed according to life science industry expectations.


  • Managing the life cycle of computerized systems including our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

  • Computerized system validations (CSV)

  • Implementation of data integrity according to the most recent industry recommendations

  • Scoping and implementation of digitalisation projects in the laboratory

You will also be responsible for:

  • Hands-on work to ensure back-up of systems
  • Control of audit trails
  • Electronic archiving
  • Writing the documentation for CSV
  • Writing instructions for use in the quality management system

  • Life Science academic degree with a high interest in IT, or IT technician academic degree with a high interest in Life Science, or similar work experience
  • Experience with managing life cycle and validation of computerized systems, it is a great advantage if your experience is from the life science industry
  • High attention to detail as well as documentation
  • Strong written and oral communication skills (English and Swedish)

Beneficial experience

  • Previous work with a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
  • Familiarity with ISO15189, GLP and GCP quality standards
  • Familiarity with immunochemistry assays
