Over 10 Years of Multiple Sclerosis Testing

MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS

In Multiple Sclerosis (MS), the immune system mistakenly attacks the protective covering of nerve fibers in the central nervous system, disrupting communication between the brain and the rest of the body.

Because MS symptoms can resemble those of other neurological conditions and vary widely between individuals, it is often difficult to diagnose in its early stages. As a result, many MS patients face delays or errors in diagnosis.

Early detection and treatment are vital, as they can slow disease progression and improve long-term outcomes.

OVER 10 YEARS OF DATA

Wieslab Diagnostic Services has been performing MS diagnostic testing for over ten years. We are in the process of compiling all the data to get meaningful insights into how the test results have changed over time.

MS, NMOSD, OR MOGAD?

MS has a wide range of clinical manifestations that overlap with other neurological disorders, such as NMOSD and MOGAD.

When diagnosing MS, it is essential to rule out these conditions. This is done by analyzing Abs against AQP4 (for NMO) and MOG (for MOGAD)
