Agrin Antibodies
Indication
Suspicion of myasthenia gravis.
Method
Indirect immunofluorescence. The method is not yet validated.
Response
Reported as negative or positive with titer. Only serum samples are tested.
Interpretation
Autoantibodies against Agrin have been reported to occur in 2-15% of patients with Myastenia Gravis (MG). However, the diagnostic and prognostic value of anti-Agrin antibodies in MG is unclear.

Anges som negativ eller positiv med titer. Endast serum.
Tolkning
Autoantikroppar mot Agrin har rapporterats förekomma hos 2-15% av patienter med Myastenia Gravis (MG). Anti-Agrin-antikropparnas diagnostiska och prognostiska värde vid MG är dock oklar.
