How our master cell banking works

Svar Life Science can generate a custom master cell bank exclusively for you using any of our off-the-shelf iLite cell lines. Your bank is securely stored in our controlled facilities and serves as the source for producing assay-ready cells delivered on demand.

This setup ensures that every shipment of ready-to-use cells is equivalent, traceable back to the original source vial, and aligned with your project’s quality requirements.

With more than 15 years of experience in cell expansion and cryopreservation, Svar Life Science has the infrastructure, expertise, and rigorous procedures needed for high-quality cell banking. Our master and working cell banks are built using a tiered system designed to control origin, passage history, and batch consistency.

For maximum security, all master cell banks are stored in −150 °C freezers across two access-controlled locations within our facility – ensuring redundancy, protection, and unwavering reliability.
