Measuring C5a With a Functional Bioassay

In this scientific poster, we demonstrate how Wieslab^® pathway-specific functional Complement ELISAs easily can be used to measure the potency of complement inhibition of any of the complement factors involved in the cascade and how potency measurement of drugs targeting C5, C5a, or the C5aR1 enabled by using our in-house developed assay ready C5a responsive cell-based reporter gene cell line.

The iLite^® technology can be adapted for many applications throughout the drug development phases including drug manufacturing processes such as the quantification of vector potency and functionality or the detection of neutralizing anti-drug antibodies (NAb).
