Therapeutic Antibodies Trimmed with GlycINATOR® Lose Antibody-Dependent Cell-mediated Cytotoxicity

 

Understanding the process leading to antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) is critical for evaluating therapeutic antibody efficacy and mode of action.  
 
In this collaborative study with Genovis, we highlight how the iLite® ADCC assay from Svar delivers sensitive and quantitative insights into the effectiveness of Fc engineering on therapeutic antibodies' ability to induce ADCC.  
 
Further, the combination of GlycINATOR® and the iLite assay represents a workflow that could be useful in preclinical development and mode-of-action studies of therapeutic antibody candidates.
