Result

Results are reported as negative, borderline, or positive with a titer.

Interpretation

Antibodies against Trib-2 have been reported in up to 26 % of patients with narcolepsy and cataplexy, but the diagnosis is primary based on clinical symptoms, HLA-typing and hypocretin levels in CSF.
