Vial

INDIVIDUAL TEST 205

Envoplakin Antibodies (IgG)

Indication

Suspicion of paraneoplastic pemphigus

Sample material

Serum

  • Minim. volume: 0,5 mL

Transport

  • Within Sweden: room temperature
  • International: cold

Method

ELISA

Reference interval

<1.0 negative

Result

Results are reported as negative or positive with a ratio.

Interpretation

Anti-envoplakin (IgG) antibodies occur in PNP (paraneoplastic pemphigus) association with lymphoproliferative diseases like non-Hodgkins’s lymphoma and CLL (chronic lymphocytic leukemia). Antibody concentration correlates with disease activity and may be used to monitor treatment efficacy.

Tolkning
