Results are reported as negative or positive with a ratio.
Interpretation
IgG antibodies against cN-1A is a marker for inclusion body myositis (IBM) approximately 30% of patients are seropositive. Diagnostic specificity is indicated to be 93-95%. Low levels of antibodies can be detected in dermato-/polymyositis patients.
