Result

Results are reported as negative or positive with an intensity value.

Interpretation

Anti-SSA/Ro60 antibodies occur mainly in Sjögren's syndrome and systemic lupus erythematosus but can also be seen in other rheumatic systemic diseases and are associated with small fiber neuropathy. During pregnancy, anti-SSA is associated with neonatal lupus.
