Result
Results are reported as negative or positive with a concentration.
Interpretation
IgM-antibodies against trisulfated heparan disaccharide (TS-HDS) are reported in a subgroup of patients with small fiber neuropathy (SFN).
TS-HDS IgM-antibodies seem more frequent and specific for SFN than IgG-antibodies against fibroblast growth factor receptor 3 (FGFR3).
