iLite® GLP-1 Assay Ready Cells
BM4100
This iLite® GLP-1 reporter assay provides cell-based functional studies of GLP-1 and its receptor GLP1R, supporting metabolic research and development of incretin-based single- and multi-agonist therapeutics.
- High sensitivity and large dynamic range
- "Assay ready" format for rapid and convenient use
- Reproducible and biologically relevant results
- Reduced assay variability and higher reproducibility compared to cells in culture
- Normalization of cell counts and serum matrix effects using a second reporter gene
Product Overview
iLite® GLP-1 Assay Ready Cells are based on the human embryonic kidney cell line, HEK293, and have been genetically engineered and optimized to be responsive to GLP-1 receptor agonists, resulting in a proportional expression of Firefly Luciferase.
The iLite GLP-1 Assay Ready Cells can be used for functional studies of GLP-1, the receptor GLP1R, and their interaction in test samples, including human serum.
Normalization of cell counts and serum matrix effects is achieved using a second reporter gene, a Renilla Luciferase reporter gene construct, under the control of a constitutive promoter.
