iLite® IL-2 Assay Ready Cells
BM4002
The iLite® IL-2 assay enables sensitive quantification of IL-2 activity or inhibition. Ideal for immunotherapy development and functional assessment of IL-2-targeting biologics.
- High sensitivity and large dynamic range
- "Assay-ready" format for rapid and convenient use
- Reproducible and biologically relevant results
- Reduced assay variability and higher reproducibility compared to cells in culture
- Normalization of cell counts and serum matrix effects using a second reporter gene
Product Overview
iLite® IL-2 Assay Ready Cells is a genetically engineered reporter gene cell line optimized to respond to IL-2 with proportional expression of Firefly Luciferase. These cells allow for the testing of specific IL-2 activity and screening for unwanted inhibitory activity of IL-2.
iLite IL-2 assay ready cells are avian DT-40 cells (ATCC# CRL-2111) which have been genetically engineered and optimized to be responsive to IL-2, resulting in a proportional expression of Firefly Luciferase.
Normalization of cell counts, and serum matrix effects is obtained by a second reporter gene, a Renilla Luciferase reporter gene construct, under control of a constitutive promotor.
The ATCC® CRL-2111 cell line is used under a license from ATCC®
