iLite® IL-23 Assay Ready Cells
BM4023
This iLite® IL-23 assay enables precise measurement of IL-23-induced signaling in a cell-based context. Ideal for characterizing inhibitors and monitoring potency in autoimmune drug development.
- High sensitivity and large dynamic range
- "Assay-ready" format for rapid and convenient use
- Reproducible and biologically relevant results
- Reduced assay variability and higher reproducibility compared to cells in culture
- Normalization of cell counts and serum matrix effects using a second reporter gene
Product Overview
iLite® IL-23 Assay Ready Cells are a highly specific genetically engineered reporter gene cell line based on avian DT-40 cells (ATCC#CRL2111). They are optimized to respond to IL-23 with specific, proportional expression of Firefly Luciferase without cross-reactivity to IL-12.
Lite® IL-23 Assay Ready Cells can be used as both a sensitive and specific assay for the quantification of the potency of anti-IL-23 or anti-p40 drugs. Because the cells respond specifically to IL-23, they can be used as an assay for the development of specific p19 inhibitors.
Normalization of cell counts and serum matrix effects is obtained by a second reporter gene, a Renilla Luciferase reporter gene construct, under control of a constitutive promotor.
The ATCC® CRL-2111 cell line is used under a license from ATCC®
