iLite® IL-23 Assay Ready Cells are a highly specific genetically engineered reporter gene cell line, optimized to respond toIL-23 with specific, proportional expression of Firefly Luciferase without cross-reactivity to IL-12.
The iLite IL-23 assay ready cells can be used as both a sensitive and specific assay for the quantification of the potency of anti-IL-23 or anti-p40 drugs and as the cells respond specifically toIL-23, allowing the use of the assay also when developing specific p19 inhibitors.
iLite IL-23 assay ready cells are avian DT-40 cells (ATCC#CRL2111) which have been genetically engineered to be responsive to IL-23, resulting in the specific expression of Firefly Luciferase. Normalization of cell counts and serum matrix effects is obtained by a second reporter gene, a Renilla Luciferase reporter gene construct, under control of a constitutive promotor.
The ATCC® CRL-2111 cell line is used under a license from ATCC®
