iLite® G-CSF

The iLite® G-CSF Assay Ready Cells offers a cell-based assay that enables the study and targeting of the G-CSF and it ́s receptor with the advantage of a biologically relevant assay system giving both a functional and quantitative read-out.
The iLite® G-CSF assay ready cells enable a broad usage throughout this development with applications such as functional screening, functional characterization, QC lot release (potency) assays and neutralizing antibody studies.
The assay ready iLite® G-CSF cells are avian DT-40 cells (ATCC#CRL2111) which have been genetically engineered to be responsive to G-CSF, resulting in the specific expression of Firefly Luciferase. Normalization of cell counts and serum matrix effects is obtained by a second reporter gene, a Renilla Luciferase reporter gene construct, under control of a constitutive promotor.
