iLite® G-CSF Assay Ready Cells
BM4055
This iLite® G-CSF reporter assay provides reliable, cell-based quantification of G-CSF activity, supporting biosimilar development and batch consistency testing.
- High sensitivity and large dynamic range
- "Assay-ready" format for rapid and convenient use
- Reproducible and biologically relevant results
- Reduced assay variability and higher reproducibility compared to cells in culture
- Normalization of cell counts and serum matrix effects using a second reporter gene
Product Overview
iLite® G-CSF Assay Ready Cells are avian DT-40 cells (ATCC#CRL2111) which have been genetically engineered to be responsive to G-CSF, resulting in the specific expression of Firefly Luciferase.
They offer a cell-based assay that enables the study and targeting of the G-CSF and it's receptor with the advantage of a biologically relevant assay system, giving both a functional and quantitative read-out.
iLite® G-CSF Assay Ready Cells enable a broad usage throughout this development with applications such as functional screening, functional characterization, QC lot release (potency) assays and neutralizing antibody studies.
Normalization of cell counts and serum matrix effects is obtained by a second reporter gene, a Renilla Luciferase reporter gene construct, under control of a constitutive promotor.
The ATCC® CRL-2111 cell line is used under a license from ATCC®
