INDIVIDUAL TEST 052

Dopamin-2 receptor (D2R) antibodies

IndicationSuspicion of autoimmune encephalitis.

MethodIndirect immunofluorescence. The method is not yet validated.

ResponseReported as negative or positive with titer.
Can be tested in serum and CSF.

InterpretationAutoantibodies against Dopamine-2 receptor (D2R) have been reported in a few cases of pediatric autoimmune encephalitis. Typical clinical features in children are encephalitis with predominant movement disorders, psychiatric symptoms, sleep disturbance, mutism, and decreased consciousness.

ENSKILD ANALYS 052

Dopamin-2 receptor (D2R) antikroppar

IndikationMisstanke om autoimmun encefalit.

MetodIndirekt immunofluorescens.
