Result
Results are reported as negative or positive. A positive result is followed by a titer (serum).
Interpretation
Autoantibodies against Homer-3 are reported with autoimmune cerebellar ataxia, and in a few cases, associated with underlying malignancies. The analysis can be considered during the investigation of subacute cerebellar ataxia of unknown cause.

Tolkning
Autoantikroppar mot Homer-3 har rapporterats vid autoimmun cerebellär ataxi och i enstaka fall varit associerad med underliggande malignitet. Analysen kan övervägas vid utredning av subakut cerebellär ataxi av okänd orsak.
