Autoimmune cerebellar ataxia
Method
Indirect immunofluorescence. The method is not yet validated.
Answer
Reported as negative or positive with titer.
Can be tested in serum and CSF.
Interpretation
Antibodies against Neurochondrin have been reported in cases with autoimmune cerebellar degeneration with rapidly progressive cerebellar ataxia. The antibodies are usually not associated with malignancy.

Antikroppar mot neurochondrin har rapporterats vid autoimmun cerebellär degeneration med snabbt progredierande ataxi. De är vanligtvis inte associerade med malignitet.
