The wide dynamic range shown by the iLite ADCC Bioassay system is beneficial as it allows for measurement of samples of different concentrations in the same dilution. A wide dynamic range is also good for inhibition studies which will inherently decrease your dynamic range - a larger starting window still leave enough range for precise measurement.
The same goes for potency assays, the longer the linear range the better the potency determination, with higher precision - it all comes down to statistic.... the more data the better.
Taken together, the iLite ADCC bioassays offer a powerful and convenient way of measuring ADCC activity in vitro and we strongly advise you to try out the performance of the iLite ADCC bioassays!
These graphs show data from three sets of experiments comparing effector and target cells from Svar Life Science with those of a leading competitor. In all cases, the dynamic range and ADCC activity are much higher with the iLite ADCC bioassays than with the traditional bioassays. The experiments were performed using the cells indicated in each figure, and in the presence of increasing concentrations of antibody.
The right cell-based assay expertise can provide you with a deeper understanding of drug product safety and efficacy, but it is critical to select a suitable, stable cell line that produces a specific response to the drug target in question. The chosen platform also has to provide the appropriate sensitivity level and dynamic range needed to measure that specific response.
With the iLite ADCC Bioassay system, we offer a unique platform that is carefully, and cleverly, engineering to utilize the endogenous signaling pathways of the Fc-interactions together with specific plus and minus target cells. This engineering solutions ensures a reliable system with superior performance compared to other commercially available solutions.
