iLite® C3a Assay Ready Cells

iLite® C3a Assay Ready Cells are human HEK293 cells genetically engineered to be responsive to human complement component 3a (C3a), resulting in a proportional expression of Firefly Luciferase.
This cell line is optimized for the quantification of C3a activity, and for the determination of inhibitory activity against either C3a itself or against the C3a receptor in test samples, including human serum.
Normalization of cell counts and serum matrix effects is obtained by a second reporter gene, a Renilla Luciferase reporter gene construct, under control of a constitutive promoter.
