Updated Request Forms for Smarter Navigation
At Wieslab, we believe that diagnostic request forms should do more than list available analyses; they should help clinicians quickly navigate testing options and make informed ordering decisions.
To support efficient test selection and streamline the ordering process, we have made significant updates to all our request forms. The new forms are designed to be more intuitive, easier to navigate, and better aligned with today's diagnostic pathways, helping clinicians quickly find relevant analyses and panels from the Wieslab portfolio.
What’s New In The Updated Forms?
The most significant change is within our neurology offering. As the Wieslab Neurology portfolio has expanded, the breadth of available analyses has grown considerably. While this has provided clinicians with more diagnostic options, it has also made the previous Neurology request form increasingly complex to navigate.
To improve usability, the Neurology request form has now been divided into two dedicated forms:
-
Neurology – Central Nervous System (CNS)
-
Neurology – Peripheral Nervous System (PNS)
This new structure helps clinicians more easily identify relevant tests based on patient presentation and supports a more streamlined selection process.
In addition to this change, all request forms have been comprehensively updated to reflect the current Wieslab diagnostic service portfolio. Recent additions and updates, including expanded nephrology offerings through thePrimary Membranous Nephropathy (PMN) panel and the introduction of pTau217 for Alzheimer's disease assessment, are incorporated where relevant, ensuring clinicians have access to our latest diagnostic options.
The forms themselves have also been redesigned to improve readability and ease of use in both digital and printed formats. Tests and panels are organized according to the clinical question and diagnostic area, making it simpler to identify the most appropriate analyses and supporting efficient test ordering.
Explore Our Request Forms
Neurology (CNS)
The Neurology CNS request form is focused on disorders affecting the central nervous system, bringing together panels and analyses for autoimmune neurology, neurodegenerative disease, neuroinflammation, and neurological biomarkers. Key areas include autoimmune encephalitis, paraneoplastic neurological syndromes, multiple sclerosis, NMOSD/MOGAD, and Alzheimer's disease biomarkers. The form also includes access to tissue-based assays, disease-specific antibody testing, and biomarker analyses such as Neurofilament Light (NfL) and pTau217.
Neurology (PNS)
The Neurology PNS request form supports investigation of conditions affecting the peripheral nervous system, neuromuscular junction, and muscle. It brings together diagnostic testing options for inflammatory neuropathies, autoimmune nodopathies, small fiber neuropathy, myopathies, and neuromuscular transmission disorders.
The form includes recently expanded offerings in inflammatory neuropathy diagnostics, including testing related to autoimmune nodopathies and small fiber neuropathy, alongside established panels for Myasthenia Gravis and Lambert Eaton myasthenic syndrome (LEMS).
Autoimmunity
The Autoimmunity request form brings together Wieslab's extensive autoimmune diagnostics portfolio, covering systemic autoimmune diseases, autoimmune kidney disease, vasculitis, complement disorders, antiphospholipid syndrome, inflammatory myopathies, and other organ-specific autoimmune conditions.
Designed to support broad differential diagnosis as well as targeted investigation, the form includes both established and recently expanded testing options. This includes the updated Primary Membranous Nephropathy (PMN) offering alongside comprehensive complement testing, ANA-based investigations, and disease-focused panels for conditions such as SLE, systemic sclerosis, and autoimmune liver disease.
Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM)
The Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) request form supports monitoring of biopharmaceutical therapies by providing access to drug concentration measurements and anti-drug antibody (ADA) testing for a range of commonly prescribed biologics. The form is organized by therapeutic class, making it easy to identify relevant monitoring options and support treatment optimization.
The portfolio includes testing for TNF-alpha inhibitors, cytokine inhibitors, integrin inhibitors, complement inhibitors, B/T-cell inhibitors, and other targeted therapies, helping clinicians assess treatment exposure and immunogenicity where relevant.
These updates reflect our ongoing commitment to making diagnostic testing more accessible, intuitive, and clinically relevant. By aligning our request forms with current diagnostic pathways and the latest portfolio additions, we aim to support efficient test selection and informed clinical decision-making.
